Description: In 1938, Turkish military massacred thousands of Kurds in Dersim (Kurdistan). Following the massacre, the Turkish government destroyed villages and uprooted families from their homeland and sent them into exile in western Turkey. In his documentary on Dersim, Cayan Demirel has interviewed witnesses and survivors as to what happened in 1938 from their perspectives.
